Robot Games 2000 Sumo Robot Workshop

Bring your robot to this yearšs SFRSA Robot Games 2000, on October 1, 2000 at the Exploratorium in San Francisco. Registration begins at 11:00AM. We have a venue for almost any kind of robot.

Robot Games 2000 will be Webcast by the Exploratorium.

Hosts will be Brian Mallow (Web telecast personality) and Roger Gilbertson (RobotStore entrepreneur)

To date we have arrangements for the following challenges.

Robot Sumo
- Traditional Sumo rules as used by SFRSA

Lego Mindstorms Mission #7 (Note: If fewer than 5 entries, event will transfer to the Free Style competition.)

Free Style (open floor) competition

Line following robot demonstration/trials

The SFRSA Robot Games Lego Mindstorms Challenge.

Bringing your Lego Mindstorms Robot to this yearšs Games to test your robot building skills. We are hosting a Lego Mindstorms challenge to test your skills as a builder. Complete the challenge for recognition or be one of the top finisher and win a prize.

The rules of this game are based on Lego Mindstormsš mission number 7 (the Lego grand prix). The Lego Mindstorms mission number 7 rules can be found at http://www.mindstorms.com/missions/grandprix/home.html

So far we have event T-shirts, cool Hallmark collectable Robot Xmas Tree ornaments, and wonderful Robot Store prizes.
